Like idk if this makes it worse but they genuinely have different undertones which means they didnt even color pick her and then make the skin really white like they literally chose an entirely unrelated skin tone

i can't really pinpoint a favourite colour palette, but i love working with blue and purple palettes and undertones ^^ i think these pieces are the ones where i use those colours/undertones the most

Learning how to color dark skin is as easy as color picking or looking at the HUNDREDS of tutorials. There's so many different shades of brown than just ash-gray-brown.
(My OCS as examples)
I like to use purple, rose/pink and some olive undertones

You might think it does bc of the blue BG (surrounding colours do interact w eachother)
