In this side scrolling RTS(!) Familiars are categorized in 4 different schools & being either "Astral" or "Substance" all with specific weaknesses & strengths

Vanillaware later released hi-res images of the Yukiko Hirai (平井 有紀子) portraits with backgrounds. But to this day, I think we are the only game site that uploaded shots of these portraits on white.

George Kamitani art in these 4 games by his company Vanillaware. GrimGrimoire is a 2D RTS, not many of those out there. Muramasa is especially pretty and its beautifully animated depiction of "The Wave" is a must see.
