I noted that this actually kinda parallels my first piece this year, which was the cover for WWFSFG, but are also opposites with Ansy being very exposed, or almost completely covered, and the mood in one is harsher while the other is softer. It was a very interesting coincidence.

Image 1: he wears a floor-length robe and usually his hair down at his "home" Temple (Eastriver Temple). While travelling he wears a cloak.
Image 2: That's what's beneath the cloak and that probably looks a bit familiar.
@RosalynBriar We see a bit of it on the #WWFSFG Book I cover since Ansy's on the cover! I also have terrible sketch of what Elemental Mages generally wear (inner to the left with Ansy, outer to the right with Ashyll).
There are practical reasons to why he shows so much skin.
Sharing WIPs came up, & it just made me want to share the drawing of the Eastriver witch (Ansy) I made last year, & just because I can, I'm throwing in the art used for cover of Book I too.
Do I always draw Ansy's hair in motion because of wind? Not quite *always*, but yes.
@Valerie_Storm This is one of the few that's been released (and also the first proper drawing I made of Ansy).

1. This is a embarrassingly awful sketch I've done with what Elemental Mages wear though I made for some question in the document. Ansy to the left, Ashyll to the right. Ansy wears a similar cloak too.
2. You see a bit of what Ansy wears in colour here.
@Prochy_Jan So the WIP of choice is WWFSFG or When the World Falls, I'll be Safe from the Wrath of God, which is a multigenre NA fantasy series. Also, it's very gay.
The main character is an OP mage (and that was literally the concept I work from). Random fact... Ansy's lactose intolerant.
