Bryan Collier has won so many Caldecott & CSK awards that he must have an extra wing on his house to fit all his prizes! But he’s Mr. Modest. We had a great time at the @carlemuseum, where we’re both board members.
Trina Schart Hyman, Cricket Magazine's first art director, would have celebrated her 80th birthday today. The #illustrator of over 150 books and a Caldecott Medal winner, she sadly passed away in 2004. We're celebrating her wonderful work today! #kidlitart #kidlit
