#OTD in 1819: An early-type balloon crashes in Paris (France), killing pioneer aviatrix Sophie Blanchard. On a display at Tivoli Garden she threw fireworks from her hydrogen-filled balloon, which caught fire and crashed. She was the first-ever recorded female aviation fatality.
If you haven't seen it, this is Hydrogen. My first 1/1 piece, up for auction on Foundation.
The winning bidder will also receive an Emerge token, which provides free art dropped into their wallet weekly.

Here's my genesis 1/1 piece: Hydrogen.
Pick it up on @foundation.
If you win the auction, you'll also receive an Emerge token and get free weekly art drops.
In 1927, German physicists Dr Fritz London & Dr Walter Heitler applied quantum mechanics (Schrödinger equation of 1925) to explain covalent bonding in the hydrogen molecule: this significantly-enhances astrophysics research of hydrogen (e.g. molecular clouds)...
Some more human practice.
Hydrogen, part of Character of the Week from a discord server I'm in.
Character belongs to @Somerandomguyn2
Meet H₂S
The H stands for Hydrogen...
But it's also for Harry

@RakuRacoon RebornWeeb here, spotted skunk vtuber, I excel in strong smells, but I'm weak to a mix of hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, and baking soda
They "began by docking disembodied amino acids against the target protein and storing the backbone coordinates and target binding energies of the typically billions of amino acids that make favourable hydrogen bonding or nonpolar interactions" 8/23

Commission for @sleepy_whyy , she's a sheep species designed to inflate herself and fly around. Her lungs can take in water and absorb the hydrogen from it and her flippers make steering in the air easy. Just don't poke her with a lit match...~
We have an amazing @FlowerGirlsNFT Drawing Inspirations piece this week from @AlessandraNFT!
Alessandra's piece is inspired by Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin, who helped explain stellar atmospheres and discovered the main components of stars are hydrogen and helium.

It feels like cheating bringing that candle to a leaky hydrogen tank but be honest… Those huge fiery airbags of hers couldn’t possibly hold for the other 10 seconds! Bon voyage!
Roxie is quite a fireball! It’s been a blast!!
@Kbryme Name: Soleil
Inflation limit: Variable, but the bigger she can get, the better~
Preferred inflation: Air, helium, hydrogen, or most liquids
Notes/Comments: Capable of focusing gases into specific areas of her body. Not a fan of orb shapes.
