Day 12 of #DINOCHALLENGE is Torvosaurus, a large megalosaurid from the mid-to-late jurassic. Theres some contention over whether Megalosaurids had yet developed feathers or protofeathers, so i decided to go without on this one (and the next one, Allosaurus) #Dinosaurs #PaleoArt
I have these two versions of Megalo Station put together so you can actually see a difference and think about to really know if a SRZG HD Remake would be better to play or not. #SonicTheHedgehog #SonicRidersZeroGravity #MegaloStation #Comparison #Remakes #Gaming
Can anyone get this Expression of Megalos in a higher quality? #FGO https://t.co/zNRBVk5Djj

Megalosaurus seems to be your rather ordinarily typical theropod, but it was the first non-avian dinosaur ever to have its own genus name. It was named back in 1824, and was once believed to have been a giant lizard (which we now know it wasn’t)!
Alright, here we go. Quite a few people asked for this so here it is, the phylogeny of Jurassic World's dinosaurs.
I do not follow the "ornithoscelida hypothesis" here, as studies are in the works casting doubt on its validity. I also don't include megalosauroids in carnosauria.

Megalosaurus; the first non-avian dinosaur to be named and the animal that helped to coin Dinosauria. Overall it was your typical Megalosaurid; a long body, strong stout legs, and a large rectangular skull filled with large, knife-like teeth.
