I know how early this was in SketchVG's work, but even with simple tools, he still managed to add shading. It's basic, but there's a nice little narrative, too.

There's quality here and it's a good case for making stuff with what you have, now. Don't let your tools limit you.

The game has a really great narrative, the Intoners are so interesting, but at the same time the gameplay and the technical performances really drag down the whole product

I’ve tried to capture this scene multiple times over the course of a year. Learning more about narrative, visual hierarchy, colour and light etc. has helped it come a long way. I hate firelight now and how it doesn’t show blues/greens, but I’ve kind of learned to paint it!
