I still draw traditionally, typically a combination of blueline and regular pencil. Scan the work,adjust and edit the pencils and begin painting. I work from the background to the figure. I always call this the "ugly phase".

For me, I just use the standard paintbrush at a 1.5 size. It all comes down to doing similar strokes as to if you were sketching with an actual pencil. Also these type of sketches take much longer to do so keep that in mind if you just want to quickly doodle something instead :)

I tried to pretty myself up today with mascara and an eyebrow pencil. I immediately removed it all because of how bad it looked 😭I really wish I had friends nearby who can teach me (YouTube videos and written instructions don't help me; I need realtime feedback).
