I use 5000 x 5000 canvas dimensions and then when you export you can select the resize method and do 500 x 500. Always make sure the resolution is higher than the standard web. 300 px or me for me I chose 600! When I resize it won't be so pixelated

Okay bigger size and vectors are the way to go. Unless I'm working with giant characters, I'll have to remember to resize each frame before running it through the Spritesheet and XML generator. Or I could resize in Psych. Dunno yet.

if you use right-click, copy image, paste to update your platform/social banners, keep this in mind. platforms resize images based on location. make sure to "copy image" from the full view version, highest quality. prevents blurred banners 🤍

Once it's resized, tweak anything that looks off. I very subtly adjusted the pixels around the eyes here, but it would've been fine either way.
I use this technique exclusively now. It makes the process quicker & easier since you don't have to be as precise for most of it.
