Got a lot done! Sunk another two hours into these statues/wall. Makes 6-7 hours total just to get to here. Keep thinking I should be faster than this but it's also nice to just take my time and go back and forward over simple shapes.

I thought I try! I used mostly the colors in your examples, just arranged them differently. Whatever you decide to go with I suggest to keep contrast in mind so shapes pop and stand out more!

It was an interesting exercise on End of Nations to dress up very iconic and flamboyant shapes with more grounded details to both get something that read well in an RTS but seemed a bit less cartoony when seen in HD

On the first sketch is an idea and basic shapes, second - more detailed anatomy. It shows how my brain works. Tomorrow will add more details and environment that will help to tell my story

Day 8 of - SDF functions

Found them to be quite powerful. These are just 4 circles adjusted just slightly and viewing the overlaps
