note I'm not an expert on art and there's tons I had to improve, but these fundamentals I listed (shapes being the first) sorta gets me out from the "newbie" hell
it's like that one equip in a MMO that makes it so easy to grind through levels and "ranks"
Buildings in large BGs can be broken down into several blocks too. Imagine a box or other shapes with the windows+texture as a wrapper, then you line them up in a floor plan
honestly the biggest obstacle was me being lazy to draw patterns (you can copy paste it in digital)☠️
I've reduced my https://t.co/9NeHwMdC76 tiers pricing from $10->$7 and $5->$4 to increase accessibility for everyone!
Also just uploaded a sharp hair brush I often use to block hair shapes and strands - examples below~

I've finally decided to make my first EVER tutorial, and you can vote for which topic you want to see the most between LIPS, SHAPES and POSING over on the other website
Day 773: Master study #1 - Yomu, one of my favorite artists. I didn't quite get the face/head shapes and angles right, but it's close. Needs more practice. I did get a little bit more familiar with my current process, though. Hopefully that's good news for future art.
Day 768: Another blind study session, this time for front-facing head/face. Not expecting perfect symmetry, but trying to get a handle on how to make cuter head/face shapes without struggling for hours. Didn't really use Loomis method here, just eyeballing angles/brow line.
Day 759: Another profile study. Feels like i'm refining better guidelines for getting the proportions and shapes looking human instead of weird and animal-like. I'll have to try them out in a drawing/sketch sometime soon.
but since mecha is comprised of shapes, shapes and even more shapes, it took me awhile to make it look not off-model (but there's still some mistake here orz)
it's just easier to look off model with mechs since they need to strike balance between clunky and "flowing" with it orz
when you draw organic looking things like human/animal/monsters etc that isn't gigantic armor suit, you can "cheat" on some parts and draw them as symbols instead of shapes
dunno how to describe it, but look on her nose and hair, it shouldn't look like that irl, but...
they come in all shapes and sizes and theyre all beautiful ☺️ https://t.co/mOv1fQBs50
Filler post: All the Mua test doodles I did ~last week. Since I hadn't really drawn them that much, I wanted to figure out rough ideas for the face/hair shapes while sketching. Some of these expressions aren't very in-character, but learning what doesn't work is also important.
Try doing the line art once again. A good line art make you understand the 3d shapes even without shading. But I still have no clue what I’m doing. Also, suisketch practice starting today. Her hair is confusing as always. https://t.co/qTnLhxapgw
omg hehe...haha......heheheh I have a proper ref of his tattoos btw GRRRAAAAAA #99kroiocs
theyre all the same tatts for his troll version but the yakuza tatt shapes on his chest might be changed into just waves/clouds or something :3c
HE LOVES PLANTS N GARDENING BTW AHH https://t.co/zWVAH9EK7w
Trying something new. Drawing the faces and the eyes with some contours and no eyelashes. Hopefully this might help with the 3d shapes.
But tbh, I feel like shit right now for going back and forth without any real progress. https://t.co/b13yoLqIk5
Bro. I plan to practice more lineart by looking at Marc's example. Then it hit me hard that his sketch conveys all the information about the 3d shapes. How and when will I be able to do this? This is so painful. When is this training arc going to finish? Help...
She's actually an hunter creature that i made up.
She can mostly morph her body in a certain way suitable for hunting but unable to fully shapeshift like this one.
But she is faster and way more durable than the blorb one.
