This is my first post in a while and I apologise. Here's, Ellie's redesign. I felt the original design was kinda plain compared to the rest of the the cast. Is it an improvement or do you like her original design?

I should wait until it's finished to show it, but here's a WIP of the reference sheet I'm using for Angela, the main character of my comic. I plan on publicly releasing reference sheets for other cast as I go along, but as she's the central protag I wanted her to be shown first
Streamlining the faces was a really good idea. way more consistent with each other now.
Here's Ethan, Riley, Robbi, and Enig. just some of the colorful cast you'll come across inside of Maia's subconscious version of Autumn Bay City.
I will say that Kizmel was a great addition to the cast.
She was a great means in world building for SAO that I'd never known until this point.
The mysterious NPC that seemingly acted very life-like added a lot of flavor to the dynamic between the main group.

In my animation class, we learned about creating cartoon characters using shapes… so I thought I’d apply what I learned to some of the cast of my comic!

Left to Right: Vlinder, Zachary, Pent, Hex, Mikayla, and Hornet.
It's mostly when we get to Floor 2 that Reki moves away from developing a raid as the main focus and moves into building a core cast. We see the guilds begin to form and the slow development of Laughing Coffin, feeling more menacing & "progressively" intertwined than ever before.
