Many of the paintings of #VanGogh feature diggers, sowers, reapers and workers of the land. The theme of the laborer had been celebrated by Millet & other painters before Van Gogh but Vincent modernized it stylistically and conceptually. Van Gogh gave new stature to labor itself.

@_DakotaDouglas And while a healthy source of "he said" or "he looked at" reads almost as punctuation, a bit of stylistic variety can be refreshing. Same for the word list publication that lists all the COLOURS by category. I find the cheatsheets are great printables to keep on my writing desk.

Impromptu Gracie birthday present! Nandy is by far the most stylistically distinct sona I've attempted so far, so I had to take a lot more liberties with the design, but I think I like how it turned out!

Metallics can be difficult with Eevee toon shaders because you can't have them properly reflect the world in most setups (for technical and/or stylistic reasons.) You can make them more interesting by matcaping a procedural texture to fake some reflections. #b3d #bnpr #blender3d
