is the definition of something I call 'Soft-Art'. Using fading and coloring to make beautiful scenes makes the artwork look softer and more pleasing to look at. An example would he on the eyes or light flares from said eyes.

Abundantly clear is his approach when it comes to fading the sides of cels. I hadn't noticed this before because most of my exposure to his work comes in the digital era but its absolutely a trait he implores here.

Attention drawn
like the fading contour
of cracks
in the pavement
shaded by lamps,
fated to disappear
into itself,
waiting for spring
to sprinkle magic
and flood away
broken mirrors,
for summer breeze
to lift beauty
from their dark.

Scythe into the ground, Munin going into a full blown panic, then quickly backs into it. Just as she had Munin managed to escape out of her, the blade slicing into their arm as they do.

Deary's fading eyes pool with dark tears again. "I'm so sorry..." She manages to sputter +

Doesn't it feel good to be invisible?
Gone
Just like the way I used to be
Gone
Have I been fading away?
Yeah, I'm so gone
Gone
And I can feel your stare
Like dynamite
Breaking silence with
Irish goodbyes

this I wish
memories of you
falling and fading
from the ardent night

let their dust settle
on silent streets
trample under foot
no longer the fool

take my doubts and fears...
leave me daydreams of love

~Fading Pt.3~

Here is the last piece in my fading series. I really like the end result and think I got a pretty cool texture on them.

During what was the most miserable Summer of my life, so far, it felt as if hope was fading and as if I had irreparably f’ed-up.
I found some solace in Power Metal, particularly DragonForce:

I also was moved by NIIC The Singing Dog, during that time.

I watch and and sit
In the eye of the strom
Gathering my feelings
Powerful never listening
But doing their dealing
On this earth lives may be fading
But on this journey a slim hope
Hand raised
A prayer
Bring forth the bliss and healing
