A Mušḫuššu character I designed recently! They're a very ancient type of mythological creature dating back to the sixth century BC.

I'm a hobbyist writer who likes putting mythological creatures in the modern day. The art being shown was commissioned from, in order of appearance, and give them a look and perhaps a commission.

🪶 Day 4: Mythological creature / (Age, quirk, etc.) Swap 🔥

Werewolves, vampires, or maybe phoenix? You can have them all in here.

Or maybe you want to mix things up with swapping? For Hawks to have Hellflame while Enji has Fierce Wings?

This is up to you. Go wild on day 4!

Koto was inspired by a historical-mythological figure before I funneled elements of characters whose methods don't necessarily live up to their sense for justice - the ends justify the means, you have skeletons in the closet, secrets you can't speak to the hero you walk alongside

Hello! I’m Lucy, a webcomic artist with a Welsh mythological comic called The Vale of Wales, about a girl from the mortal world, who makes contact with the Fae after years of them haunting her. I’m waiting on a new pen & tablet, & once I’ve got it, I’ll hop right back into it.

I call it Nuss, derived from a local mythological creature. It's a dwarf-like nature spirit that tricks humans that disrupts him.
