I wanted both of my GIANT-SIZE X-MEN issues to start with a graphic X layout. JEAN + EMMA’s is circular and flowery — meant to portray Krakoa as a mutant paradise. STORM’s is angular and stiff, with circuitry behind — trying to get across a claustrophobic and robotic feeling. ❌

Initial Lineart, Flats

Took awhile to figure out the far hand perspective, but I got there

Usually by this point, I start to realise how stiff the piece is, but I'm feeling good about this one

I kinda miss Tadano’s 90s art style. It used to be way more expressive and dynamic. The new poster, while pretty and elegant, seems a bit unnatural and stiff to me. 😔🌙✨

3D animation practice time again. This time I refined the walk-cycle I did with Sig the other day. It looks a tad less stiff now.
Maybe one day I'll rig his mouth so he can close it, but that day is not today.

whenever i really get into a new media the art starts to rub off on me a little and vivians ponytai in this drawing is subconsciously me projecting how much i like early dbz goku's more dynamic flowy hair (compared to how stiff gokus hair feels now)

Recent pieces, practising with body movements as my art always seems so stiff, also working more with drawings males as I need to learn, although still refusing them legs 😅😅😅

I’m better making movements look less stiff! And facial expressions look more lively! Now I’ve gotta work on those backgrounds

"The attack came suddenly, from the left and right. Charging raptors covered the 10 yards to the fence with shocking speed. Grant had a blurred impression of powerful 6ft tall bodies, stiff balancing tails, limbs with curving claws, open jaws with rows of jagged teeth."
