Hi 👋 I’m Molly and I love bright colors, dark outlines, and not drawing backgrounds 😬💕 I have a long way to go in terms of developing a style, but these are a few things that I’m proud of! 2 OCs, Cookie and Ben Rattlin are here, too! I love character design!

I tried making something without outlines this time and I also added the shadings. Naru's face kinda looks flat but she looks cute here hahaha!

Finally, a hashtag for me! I am a hobbyist artist drawing and fanart, in either a cutesy humorous chibi style, or a semi-realistic style with bold dark outlines and saturated colours. Both were greatly influenced by children's animation!

Here we gooo I finally finished the colouring of miss outlines yo I worked over a lot like the skin and the eyes and whew I'm glad I did because I lowkey love how it turned out now. I'll put some close ups in the comments because I love details even if they don't show

Despite there arent as many spots with actual outlines on the Monster, there are still lines in your artwork.

While Rena is totally outlined with solid lines. The traditional "lined" artwork.

That vector process takes awhile on Clip (compared to Animate BUT Adobe Animate doesn't have the ability to paintbucket using other layers for ref, aka, I don't have to redraw borders tracing outlines above the shading layer)
As legit looking of anime as its going to get

One thing I've done a couple of times in older art that I want to use a bit more is using white outlines on certain parts to convey depth.

My overall style is a little flat by design and I think in moderation it helps a bit.

Okay beefy boy is coming along great, but now I'm at a crossroads......comic-style outlines/inking, or stick with the painterly?

Let me know! The inking style will try my hand at line weights/traditional comic inking techniques w/ blending, while painterly is NO LINESSS

I love water colors!
And my favorite color schemes are usually rather muted with just a tiny bright accent color in the skin and outlines.
Here’s some examples:

I don’t really shade my work,,, but for coloring I usually go for really strong vibrant colors on the color palette rather than pastel since it gives a better feeling to my thick outlines^^

no es por ser hater pero hay artistas buenísimos en corea y ateez tiene el presupuesto para pagarles pero terminan contratando a alguien que parece hacer outlines ¿¿

Revenge on
Tried a painterly style - still have to improve certain things but I think it's cool so far!
I think I'd prefer some kind of outlines instead of trying to avoid lines throughout the piece - think it'd come together a bit better ;v;)7

Center block and three more outlines.

I got a thing for cartoons with geometric character art, strong colors, thick outlines, and fluid movement. Most of these were common in the 2000s.
