game idea:
a 3D open-world rpg that fully replicates the look of old Ghibli films like Nausicaa. painted BGs with cell-colour-outlined characters and interactables.

It wasn't until last year with grass/foliage brushes that I found the 'fun factor' for me w/ BGs.

I had bought brushes to use, but made my own using the tutorial videos instead.

And it turned BGs into (still slow, but) fun 'puzzles' I love to solve ever since
