ah okay!
well first I make the sketch then I paint in the background, and then draw the base colors over it, then I use a multiply layer in the color red ( at abot 46%) and then I start the rendering process!

Probably my Cinderace drawing! I experimented a lot with the colors, and it was the first time I successfully used the Multiply layer. It was a real blast!😁

Hello everyone do u prefer the original, multiply, linear burn, or hue effect 😞

Multiply layer tool is pretty cool :p

Okay, I did two versions of this, one with a sharper outline and one with a blurred/multiply layer one. 2P Japan padoru. I hope this is the last time I have to submit this because I've redone it like 3 times now, I kept finding little bugs in the lines.

More reposting: Human Mipha! did this one super fast and didn't focus too much on lineart and more on effects. I so far super love multiply

Multiply seems to work quite well in shadows, provided the applied color isn't too strongly saturated (then colors start to look "dirty"). But other than that, the color change looks pretty promissing. Good call!

Here's some stuff I did for the little art thingy of 2019.

I did a shit ton of commissions
I finished a ref of my character, Thallius.
I also learned to love the multiply, overlay, and luminosity thing in Sai.

I recently tried creating a grayscale work and then added color using a Photoshop multiply layer. The results turned out well, I think.

(Please ignore the odd facial proportions)

- a lot about strengthening my anatomy skills, building my colouring skills, and finding ways to push myself a lot more than I realised I could go

(discovering multiply and overlay layering helped a whole bunch too~)

I wanted to practice anatomy and painting and tried to avoid using multiply or add/overlay layers.

Here's how the process looked:
Base colors -> Shading (multiply) -> Overlay layers -> Reflections

You take your girl, and multiply her by 4
Now a whole lot of woman, needs a whole lot more ✨

Pro-tip: Painting out your line art will get you to a more painterly look very quickly. Here I've included the AO (very quick Ambient Occlusion pass), the AO set to multiply on top of flat colors, and OC, colors and line art
