This is my OC "Oda Bran", of the nomadic "Bran" Family. The lil fella is his rhino beetle larvae called "Ala", who suffers from an unknown disease that delayed its growth.
They're partner in crimes and love to wander through (the dangers of) nature.

Process stuff. Before these I did some little smudgy oil paint sketches where it looked much more like a giant rhino beetle. Then did the digital sketch followed by the charcoal one. Made a super rough 3D model in there to make sure the reflection wasn't totally wrong.
