Madichon is a Haitian Creole for curse, which seems a fitting title for a horse with a skull face who like... brings fire.

Alfred De Dreux was well known in the mid 19th Century for his stately equine scenes, such as this aptly named piece, "An Elegant Equestrienne". Fun fact: the logo was based off one of his drawings.
