2022 - TMNT: Shredder's Revenge
One of the best beat em ups, especially of the modern time, and easily the best TMNT game. It's just so amazing, the attention to detail to everything, the gameplay, the MUSIC (oh the fucking music!!)!! It's amazing stuff.
Had a dream the other night that Sonic Unleashed and Sonic and the Black Knight had a crossover.
Sonic, in his werehog form, used an orange lance as a primary weapon and occasionally a sword-gun (for some reason???)
Either way, it made the werehog gameplay really fun.
I'm gonna skip 2022 [tho come on its probly gonna be GoW: Ragnarok anyway]. But I think GotG might edge out. The art direction is SUBLIME sci-fi. The story was great. Gameplay was decent enough, and you saw me tweeting about my love for the in-universe "Star Lord" band album
