Heres a Halfing Samurai compilation drawing I did. This took forever because I tried to push myself to do unfamiliar angles and poses. Need to work on practicing this stuff more but I think I pulled it off okay. Was fun too! Headache, not so much 😆

So, in Gen 3, they decide to do the remakes, FireRed and LeafGreen. Remakes of the original Red and Green. So... they went with the original artwork they did for Red and Green, not Red and Blue, to remaster the artwork/poses.

I always thought the American Red & Blue sprites were pretty hideous-looking. Japanese Red & Green is only marginally better. Yellow had much better-looking sprites that better resembled Ken Sugimori's artwork, even if some of them were in unusual poses...
