I started painting and then realized it wasn't something I could use (that neon cyan won't really show up well when printed) so I had to lower the saturation and switch to color blocking instead for my project. But here's the translation! I think it's kinda cool to see.

Got a black saturation layer over everything so I can check my colour values, and also an additional light and shadow layer. I phoned in the distant background a bit, but I think it's really coming together??

This was a really challenging piece, as it made me realise there's a ton of things I'd never tried before- dark skin, bright lights, high contrast, high saturation, perspective... basically the Rainbow Road of art.

update: i fixed it. i gave lamia the same skin tone and put a black saturation layer on the pic since it kinda mimics b/w film. erased the black away from the hair and eyes. the skin still looks pale but the tone matches the original skin. ty darya for the suggestion !
