Even more sketches! At first I thought I would just do couple, but yeah apparently I'm doing all of them. Anna and Elsa were extremely puzzling, but 1890s made the most sense so I decided to go with that. Also they had artificial colors so Elsa's dress was possible
The Water Lily is the birth flower for #July along with the Larkspur. It symbolises all that is good, true & beautiful, bringing good fortune & peace. Some of Monet’s Water Lily #paintings depicting his garden at Giverny from 1890s to 1926.
Another Thursday #PortraitChallenge by @StudioTeaBreak! Kukkia Kasteleva Tyttö (Girl from the Archipelago), painted in oils on canvas by Amélie Helga Lundahl in the early 1890s. Putting the shadows in green wasn’t the best idea but I like her quiet happiness #kleineKunstklasse
This is Alphonse Mucha's 1905 painting, Madonna of the Lilies! Although this isn't from the 19th century, I thought I would include it as it still has that incredible art nouveau style which developed in the 1890s! #Art #Fineart #Painting #artnouveau

Sambourne used to exercise outdoors every day; from horse riding (up to the mid-1890s his diary has more entries about his horse than anything else); to his 'tea and tennis' soirees and playing golf enthusiastically until his was in his 60s.
Are you keeping fit in confinement?
And two more late Pre-Raphaelite entries to celebrate #ShakespeareDay. Both are subjects from ‘The Tempest’.
