John Bauer is my favorite Swedish painter and illustrator. His work is concerned a lot with mythology and local legends. His works if very personal to me, and since childhood, this art had a huge impact on the further evolution of my creativity and artistic tastes.

The different elements for the interior pages were all painted separately by me & then arranged by the publisher. I worked out a large colour palette beforehand, so that all elements would look good together.
