Asuras (demigods in Hinduism) are said to reflect the mental state of human beings obsessed with force & violence, and are always looking for ways to get into fights.

why aren't they allowed to call their character a demigod? it doesn't have to look like a demigod from any specific myhtology. demigods are by definition just half-gods, and not all gods have the same stereotypical look to them
