HDR化によって圧倒的に発色が良くなり「人の手で描かれたセルを記録した35mmフィルム」が本来持っていた情報量、制作者が意図していたであろう映像が手で触れられそうな位の立体感と質感で眼前に広がる。特に梅津泰臣の『プレゼンス』の映像美は筆舌に尽くし難い。美しい。

『プロジェクトA子』は透過光表現が多く、宇宙空間のシーンのコントラストも素晴らしいのでTV側で疑似的にHDR処理を加えると更に良くなる。やはり35mm作品なだけあって4K HDR版に出来るポテンシャルを持っていた。というか4K HDR化するべき。

We finally have OLED monitors with proper 10-bit hdr 1000 support. Then I look at the price more likely going over $2000, here I am like who gonna afford that with the on-going GPU shortages still. We also now have 1440p 360 hz and 4k 240 hz monitors. God so help our wallets 🙃
