A way better version of my The previous version is as nothing to me now. This is clearly the definitive version!

I'm really pleased by the dissolve effect, way better than the basic fadeout on the previous cart.

One approach to get a lot of mileage from limited palettes like the palette is to make mini-palettes for each sprite, so that if you half-close your eyes, color blobs are distinct from background. It's like blending/ dithering, just not ordered ▒
