I've been getting a lot of inquiries, so here's a little tip!
This is an extreme example, but if you're using pixel art × Live2D, it's better to use less deformation and more multiple scrolling to create a 3D effect, so the pixels don't get squashed!

I'd recommend Astalon: Tears of the Earth.
A tribute to NES games, very fun and challenging metroidvania/action search game.
Does have some glitches in it, but the devs have squashed a lot of them. 100%ed last night, super fun experience.

Make the first frame normal, on the second frame make bowsers body more squashed down, and stretch the body. The rest of the frames-

The output from may's sketch stream: Ramona Flowers (Scott Pilgrim) squashed flat by Kim Pine's "+2 Fat Ass of Pancaking", Tostada (Guacamelee) fattened up to the size of a house, and Marina (Splatoon 2) filled up as a big bloated ink balloon. Thanks for tuning in!
