Of course, for any given person you won't find they agree with all of these themselves, it's a broad palette of reasons why this one thing can find quite wide appeal. I've no doubt missed a few things here. But that's what replies are for.

Rewatching School-Live! atmo and, ho boy. I still 100% recommend this anime, but only if you go in blind. Spoil yourself on literally any aspect of it, and tit loses a lot of it's appeal. Still an all-time favourite of mine!
