This collection seeks to recreate works of art that have already been painted by other artists from past centuries. In some cases I include his works. I just try to imagine his way of creating in this present of technological resources.

Epicurus (341-270 BC) was a Greek philosopher who espoused Epicureanism, the idea that tranquility & the absence of pain should be the goals of life. It was very popular but declined in the 1st & 2nd centuries AD as the Roman Empire (and with it, Stoicism) took hold

3/7 Art means researching and searching for oneself through the prism of the history that dates back centuries. My inspiration for this collection have been the prints of the graphic artist Maurits Escher and the bronze sculptures of Yves Pires.
'The Girl by the Window.' (1893) It was the German Romantic poet Novalis who anticipated the appeal of the open window. In contrast to examples from earlier centuries, 19thC pictures, such as this by Munch, show the windows straight on or with a view seen through them.

What kind of brother would force such a choice? Centuries of guilt, regret, torment... no brother would do such a thing, Nasus thought over and over again. It was the only thought left to him. No brother of his. No brother.
The Magician Beyond.
We never speak of his real name.
The name that never exists,
lying around behind the veil of existence.
Three centuries ago, he appeared in our world,
When Czemani novelist thought of his name.
The chance of impossibility had borne him.
The boy with the frozen heart has awaken after centuries of slumbers...

The triptych format has always appealed to me as a storyteller.
It's been around for centuries, and is something I'm eager to explore deeper.
The Betrayer is my first in this style.
