Well I guess mermaids like Fiona aren't the best when it comes to understanding consent 😬😬😬

Sunrise Blossom vol 4 goes live on Kickstarter on January 21st!

AI art can be neat, even useful sometimes. But it stops being neat when it violates intellectual property. Things like sampling art that people worked HARD on - without their consent, is not, in fact, neat. Please educate yourself on how works, because it's not pretty.

Ola, dibujé sin tu consentimiento a tu oc porque está bonito, tqm

See this is just not cool. Ai scrapers are using sites like Getty Images and Dreamstime to train their generators. Those are copyrighted images. You tell me THEY gave consent for their inventory to be sampled?

All my homies hate people profiting off of AI art and using it to replicate the style of other artists without their knowledge and consent

I mean technically I didn't procure anyone's consent to make the physical paintings for these human made art generations that directly sourced from other real human art.

I mean everyone was cool with it after the fact, but it was blatant usage of preexisting images.

So here's the context from my earlier post (see 🧵)
This piece was made back in 2020, using 3D software, by a creator with a huge following.
The creator sells prints at $21 on Society6 & doesn't credit me or give royalties.
All done without consent.

My point? This is pre AI era

DON'T FEED AI GENERATORS. FEED HUMAN ARTISTS. SUPPORT HUMAN ARTISTS. 🤘🏻

It isn't hard to pick up a pencil and draw. It takes years of hard work to make anything tangible, but it's doable if you work for it. AI doesn't do this. It samples images without any regard for consent or copyright and hacksaws them together.

Lol this is hearty coming from someone who got cancelled for bullying fellow artist & literally has built his reputation off carbon copying the style of Shigenori Soejima (without his consent) & sells pricey commissions & merch using IP from & many others (w/o license) https://t.co/MO5vshYtJZ

i've said it once and will continue to until ai dies -- ai "art" is PARASTISM. it uses others' art without their consent to grow stronger, and of course the people who have never touched a pencil are the ones doing it. look what you can do WHEN you do that!!

Anyways if you support AI 'artists', make AI yourself, find it okay for AI to peel art without consent from the artists... Unfollow me.

What could be more romantic than finding yourself in a castle in 15th-century Scotland where someone tries to dress you for a wedding you didn't consent to?

Escaping on a stolen horse & being accosted by a broody Highlander in a dark forest, of course!🙄

I made a "consent card" for my two OCs, to make it clear what you can and can't do with them :)

I also uploaded the original PSD files for both of them, so you can make your own consent card based off of mine - link below 👇

Oh look it's that kind of email again. Anyone else getting this?

Dear cover artists, what would you reply to this guy?

He's scraping your and your clients' copyrighted work without consent, and attempts to sell it back to you :D
