Once while competing at a major, I heard someone cheer my name that wasn't one of my friends. I lost the set, but the takeaway was that this guy recognized a local attendee and showed support, an indicator of his nature.

dark humor is hard to make work. too dark and its just being edgy. not dark enough and it loses its weight. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei balances things perfectly. and especially as someone who has been suicidal before, its nice to be able to laugh at literal gallows humor like this
