Baxter is one of my main roleplay characters in pokegijinka groups. The image is his age chart of evolving from Zubat, to Golbat and finally to Crobat. The last two versions are just different concepts made for different groups.

Golbat's Lost Tongue:

Golbat's Red & Blue sprite had a huge drooling tongue, which could also be seen in his Pokemon Stadium model. However, his tongue was never seen again after Battle Revolution in 2006.

Golbat's Tongue has been occasionally seen in older media. It can be seen in it's Pokemon Blue (International Red/Blue) sprites as well as it's Pokemon Stadium model. It is not seen in any other media. The model has been reused in the battle-based spinoffs until Battle Revolution
