MG2のLPのメタルギア改Dの後ろに書かれたZLはザンジバーランドのマークですね。

MG2のゲーム内でもコンテナの上に黄色い文字で書かれていたり、メタルギア20周年の時に津嘉山正種さんナレーションで収録されたPrologue of MGS4でも見れましたが"ZL"は近年の作品では全く出なかったのでかなり貴重です

刀身が変わったのはMGSR→MGRだけだと思ったんですが、MGS4の雷電が持っていた高周波ブレードもMGRの冒頭で再登場した時にはかなり刀身が伸びています。

雷電の強化骨格やブレードのデザインは同じなのでMGS4→MGRで特に変化は起きていないと思ったんですが実はこんな違いがあったんですね。

この話は以前も言った事があったんですが、MGS4のメタルギアRAYには柳瀬敬之さんの発案で鍵十字のマーキングがあるので、MGS2 HDエディションなのにMGS4のRAYが使われているという事になっているんですね。

あまり意識していなかったんですがMGS4のRAY表面の模様もアウターヘイブン仕様になっていたんですね。
MGS2のRAYにも模様があったんですがこれは迷彩カラーになるんでしょうか。

コトブキヤのRAYにもたくさんあの模様のデカールが付属していました。

ウォーレン・トーマスのナイフはチタンとカーボンファイバーを特殊な方法で圧着したハイブリッドナイフで非常に軽いのが特徴😃
