Today’s #FolkloreThursday is all about Seas And Rivers! In English folklore, hags like Peg Powler, Jenny Greenteeth and Nelly Longarms haunt ponds, streams and rivers, catching and eating any children who stray too close to the water’s edge.
The Grindylow is a creature of British folklore, that lurks in rivers, ponds and marshes, and drags children to the deepest areas of the shallows.
They're sometimes known as Jenny Greenteeth.

@wesleysales3d @pablodp606 I've worked with it before. It works as an alternative to drivers, but the issue is needing to create the wrinkled version to drive or displace. And that version is static.
Happy #ValentinesDay! Why not take the opportunity to reach out to someone you #love to let them know you’re thinking about them today? 💕

@rexthedogge I must admit, the DOS version of it is very good too. I was just never able to work out the Gravis Ultrasound drivers, coz I'd much prefer to play it with the Amiga-style music in the background as I get my Settlers to, well, settle. 😋 It's just beautiful to see it in High Res.
Happy Holidays everyone! Zeppelin, Rivers, Lyn and Fyn all wanted to wish you guys a fun and safe holiday break ♡ Merry Christmas Eve! Maligayang Pasko!~

Tobias Rivers, aka Purple Haze
A bit of an interesting case as he flip flopped on his inspiration westerns rope wise. But he’s basically one of two samurai cowboys in this series. He’s also based off of vampire slayers like Helsing, Blade and the Belmonts
my therapist gave me this and said that it might be helpful for folks with anxiety, she said we usually describe our emotions like oceans, and narrow them down to rivers, but that we should try to make them ponds
Crowd sourcing please:
your best architecture (landscape, building, urban, other) schemes that directly address rivers, especially that deal with social, environmental and decolonising strategies?
