kamala got picked as expected. yea, okay, whatever.
waiting with dread for the cringe and brain-smoothing that will be the debates. and also being hammered by political ads every single day since i'm ~ in a swing state ~
y-yay…
i drew it in a big canvas, so the actual size was like, 600 x 800 lmaoo, so i copied it into a bigger canvas (2000px x 2000px) n made smart smoothing strong (thanks csp) so if it looks a lil funky then thats y (2nd pic is cropped from the orig canvas)
Kiryuuuuuuuuuu chan, complete.
For this drawing i read some mangas to get that etched manga feel, i havent quite nailed and i tried doing it with as less smoothing as possible to give it that hand drawn feel

One thing I really like with vore: bulges smoothing out

Got some more work done on Callisto's hair in between dealing with a loss. Hair technique is something I learned from studying the Granblue models... shading consists of edited normals (need some smoothing) and a ramped soft-edged texture which allows you to edit the "depth".
If anyone was curious about my colored pencil process
I start by coloring really lightly to map out the colors, then add layers of the same colors on top to solidify them (leaving areas that I want highlights light), and then do most of the blending and smoothing at the end
i did the sailor moon redraw but as an experiment. im smoothing her out now
Here's an update of my re-design for the Tower enemy from Phantasy Star 4. Smoothing out the hatch opening animation, and added some steam/exhaust effect as it does.

@PIX3LP3T Top left is around my line quality for boards, but it's usually more simplified than this. Top right are my roughs for illustrations. From that point on, it's picking mediums/software/brushes that will get what I want. Rotate the canvas and utilize smoothing options if able.
In this week's report, I reflect on the first alpha test, and smoothing out stutters.

Practice
The right side is the rough. I ended up softening some edges but I need to be more confident on my edge control and limit on smoothing everything out
