@Kurz_Gesagt Gotta love Sharovipteryx too. What a time to be alive.
Ok, I figured my sketch for Edward Gorey’s “The Doubtful Hatzegopteryx” needed some ink. What do you think?

So, the animal discussed above is Hatzegopteryx, a huge pterosaur from the late Cretaceous belonging to the Azdarchid family. The most modern image of this animal is of an enormous, relatively short-necked beast with an exceedingly long skull. Is this just conjecture?
@AndyRileyish Hatzegopteryx ("Hațeg basin wing") is a genus of azhdarchid pterosaur found in the late Maastrichtian deposits of the Densuş Ciula Formation, an outcropping in Transylvania, Romania.

dinosaurs i drew last yr that i wanna re post cuz i like them (ambopteryx and spinosaurus)
Sinosauropteryx is our first compsognathid and probably best known for being the first non-avian dinosaur described with feathers. It's a quite cute, slender creature that is so well known that even the stripy pattern in it's plumage is preserved.
A rare bird for #FossilFriday: Kurt Regschek's 'Urvogel (Archäopteryx)' (ca. 1955). Unfortunately for the select group of palaeontology-surrealism connoisseurs, this painting seems to have been auctioned off with little info.
The last 5 pieces of the second "favorite dinosaur poster" were done on todays #paleostream. You see here Sinosauropteryx, Utahraptor, Anodontosaurus, Silesaurus and Aquilops.
#FeatheredFebruary you say? ;)
One of my faves (where we have good evidence for fluff) Sinosauropteryx.

@PoggersDuck @jjkk55472805 @EDGEinthewild @SayanMo13448210 @SwrveYT We literally know what numerous dinosaurs looked like. Psittacosaurus, Anchiornis, Sinosauropteryx and Microraptor just to name a few.
Just because we don't have a specific bodypart of a specific genus, doesn't mean phylogenesis can't help fill in the blanks CORRECTLY.
