Archen is a really good portrayal of an Archaeopteryx as a Pokemon, as it still has a weird monstery feel. It always looks super energetic, and sometimes a little manic

In addition to feathers, Sinosauropteryx preserves pigment, giving us the rare opportunity to know with some confidence what color & pattern it had in life!

Recently I've been creating this new character.
He's an archaeopteryx named Spïke (spelled with a diaeresis i.)

He's into fruit picking, especially liking pomegranates. He's a little derpy too, but is also incredibly friendly!

In what is now Austin, a Tylosaur cruises past Pilot Knob Volcano, a volcanic island in the Western Interior Seaway. A shoal of Hoplopteryx follow as it passes by a reef along the volcano’s flanks, and the ash cloud is set ablaze by the light of a Cretaceous sunset.

so I'm showing off my homebrew monster I made for my players again. The Ferropteryx controls iron sand with it's magnet shaped horns and tail to fly and defend itself.

I'm gonna make the official stat-block soon.
