I’ll start with Stanislaw Szukalski (1893-1987), a Polish painter, sculptor, illustrator & infamous crank/crackpot. Granted a national museum by the Polish government in the 1930’s the majority of his work (and legacy) were destroyed during the siege of Warsaw in 1939. (2of4)
