O'Keefe was one of the big names in the American modernist scene. One of the subjects she was fond of painting were flowers. This was one of her most famous compositions. Later she painted landscapes in the New Mexico desert.

THIS one though…. OHHH how this set the bar so much higher for me!! the first REAL background design i’ve ever done and i felt so accomplished for it too… the way this piece was such a hike up for my composition skills!!

Why? I wouldn't just call any image of a warrior Rostam. But compositionally, we see someone on a horse with what appears to be a subdued dragon under his horse. He appears to be receiving a ring from a goddess on right.
