@anarchyatlas clover’s magic can’t run out per se, but it does tire her out if she uses too much of it at once, and overuse can cause her to faint. her limit is indicated by the shadow she sometimes casts over an eye! less and flickering sparkles + fainter shadow = closer to fainting.
