Isn't it the worst when you come up with a really fun vis-dev idea for your worldbuilding, only to find out that people were doing it thousands of years ago? I thought my joke-oriented culture would decorate their weapons with funny faces. well *I* hadn't seen it before.

It's one of the reason I like Yakuza: Like a Dragon so much; people look like actual people, and have genuinely varied and realistic faces. Like Baldur's Gate 3, they also EMOTE very clearly and naturally, so they feel more real.
