I have no idea why, but I'm a fan of this, uh, one-sided half-closed eye kind of face. Maybe not as extreme as the below example, but I tend to use it for some angry faces.
And maybe the occasional horny face.

A bit stuck on which color to choose for the hair. Any recommendations?
@Ratuno_Aoi Thank you! The painting process just takes a little time. I start by placing clusters of hair as faces. Then I draw in the flow with a hairbrush. I add a bright color on top with the same hairbrush. Finally, I add shadows using a multiply layer.
