idk how familiar people are nowadays with ed roth (who insists on the middle name "big daddy", characteristically) and the rat fink aesthetic. very fun and influential on 90's gross-out stuff, which calls back to himbo's roots. my dad was big into these as a kid

the ken sugimori one was going for his older gen 1-2 watercolors. hugely comforting nostalgic vibes for me. i love the occasional geometric elements in the bgs, so i incorporated one. scorbunny felt like an appropriate starter for himbo! two leggy boys

the sonic and mario ones were the first two i attempted. i'd been wanting to put himbo in the sa1 pose forever, but i had trouble (and still did with this) conforming him to the pose while compensating for his lack of torso. i was v back and forth on the mono-eye

Even more bugsnax pride art! I want to do each of the characters with either their cannon flag or, like these two, my headcannons for them! I headcannon that cromdo is ace and filbo is a gay himbo :)

Nimbus here, my darling! Himbo Nymph of Shelyn, goddess of rainbows, beauty, art, and love. Protector of The Glade and all fey folk that live amongst me. 🧚‍♂️🌈
Spreading my “joie de vivre” to everyone that gazes their eyes upon me. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance!🥰✨
