I've gotten way looser with my sketches to save on time! With paintings like this one I immediately go into color blocking and start refining shapes, usually on 1-3 layers. The sketch is only a guideline to get the composition nailed down.

Aaaaand a couple more in between steps for those who are curious! Basically I just render out a greyscale version of the model. Put on some color with multiply layers. Draw in the character w/ greyscale + multiply color layers. Then paint over everything!!

Question for Overwatch players. What do Tracer's bracers do? They have that cool zippo lighter hood thing going on (much like Sol Badguy's sword), but when I see videos of her she shoots handguns and teleports using her Iron Man heart. What do the bracers do?
