I might be the only one who really likes the story in Ultrakill. I know the main draw is the gameplay, that’s what you play it for, but even still the writing is fantastic. I love the minimal approach and the lore, plus Gabriel is a fascinating character.

another thing was trying brushes/tools that arent conventional or how i would typically approach a painting. it helped me find that there are things that anchor a painting like value groups and color shifts while brushes/tools can help w/ things like edgework/texture
