Congratulations to and his collaborators for their latest paper in Theoretical Ecology - Transient disease dynamics across ecological scales.

I really enjoyed creating Fig. 1 to help explain these dynamics.

A1-1: I create drawings that use metaphor, abstract imagery and real scientific data to highlight complex scientific concepts in intuitive ways. It's been incredibly exciting to create artwork for journal covers, conferences and even space missions!

È sempre dopo la linea di luce
del mare
che l'occhio deve guardare,

i tramonti servono a questo,
a lasciarti lo sguardo
dopo il confine,

sono un invito all'infinito che
ti meriti.

Ach thank you! These are a few examples (but please see https://t.co/epzQeIbREf for my portfolio if you've not made up your mind yet).

You can't go wrong in this thread though, looks like you've got a great list of people to choose from!

Finishing this was like putting all the last minute things together before submitting a paper. Process sucks but end result worth it. Here I detested this mixed media paper but kept going anyway, little by little. This paper was like walking through sand.

Another colour scheme, red and gold Art Deco on dark background. I think this is my favourite (even my husband liked it and he isn’t always impressed!). I have uploaded it to Redbubble https://t.co/Lbf8qadgNR https://t.co/k3qUKVEKDW

Thanks for thinking of me, Melissa!

I've worked in a few different styles; here are recent examples of anatomical illustrations (commissioned for undergraduate teaching materials) & more cartoony style infographics (commissioned to support educational podcasts)

Did a crazy amount of world building and troll biology during today.

From the oldest, to the smallest, to the weirdest, trolls all have at least one thing in common, a big old nose.
