Just a little drawing tip: ALWAYS DO STUDIES. Here is the first and most recent drawing done of Miss Saiphlyn for Heartbreak Hotel. What’s the difference here? The difference is I did studies to help get comfortable with drawing her. And they’re only a few months apart.

FUN STORY: on this page when Deadhead gets hit by the truck, I actually drew the entire god damn truck. this required me to research trucks and do a bunch of studies. the penciling looked awesome

but then I had to erase like half the drawing to fit everything else in
